This artwork is part of the series called 'Strength Within'

It attempts to investigate, evaluate and possibly provide at least a partial understanding of the strength and determination that the 'human spirit' can achieve.

These images also show the dichotomy of power and vulnerability and the value of power from empathy rather than domination.

Detachment and intensity are finely balanced as the subject concentrates their gaze, challenging and posing the question 'who is being observed?'

The images have an ethereal quality. Seemingly unattached, but without doubt, commanding, forthright and anchored firmly in its place.
